Nigeria does not have a youth unemployment crisis alone. It has an education-to-employment transition crisis, a pipeline that leaks at every stage.

Youth unemployment sat at 6.5% in late 2025, informal employment at 93% of all jobs, and 14.4% of young Nigerians were neither in education, employment nor training. These are symptoms. The paper introduces the Wissen-Haus Employability Pipeline:
